
Lexy Witcher is a singer, actor, and music director based in
St. Louis, MO, and she has performed at theaters and theme parks throughout the Midwest. She most recently performed in Blue Gate Musicals' production of Our Christmas Dinner at the Ohio Star Theater. Other BGM credits include Cindy Stedman, Josiah for President; Clara, The Christmas Tree Ship; and Dorothy Johnson, Stolen the Musical. Theme park credits include: Cindy, Six Flags St. Louis in Keepin' out of Mischief; Ghostina, SFSL in Love at First Fright; Fiddle Player & Vocalist, Cedar Point Amusement Park in Totally Live! This Country Rocks; and Featured Performer, Field Station: Dinosaurs.
In addition to theatre and theme parks, Lexy enjoys creating her own shows with her partner - accomplished pianist Zach Neumann. They've created two virtual shows so far, as well as a live cabaret adaptation performed at the Blue Strawberry STL. What started as a way to perform virtually during the pandemic became a new avenue for creativity and opportunities. More shows are in the works!
Originally from Kansas, Lexy graduated summa cum laude from Wichita State University with a BFA in music theatre and minored in communications and music. While there, she studied vocally under Dr. Pina Mozzani and Emily Sternfeld-Dunn. She currently studies with Kelly Smith. Lexy has trained in ballet, jazz, and tap with Nick Johnson, Sabrina Vasquez, and Amy Baker Schwiethale. She has studied acting under Karen Robu, Danette Baker, and Dr. Bret Jones. She has also performed in a masterclass with actor and WSU alumnus Javier Ignacio.
During her time at WSU, Lexy received two Irene Ryan nominations - one for Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors in the fall of 2017 and the other for her role as Lainie Wells in Two Rooms in the fall of 2016.
